Outlook 2003: Save Attachments (DOWNLOAD)
Screenshot:

You can download the app here (ZIP file - no installer - only exe and 2 dll files-- I have tested the app only with Outlook 2003). I am sure that there are some bugs and there are things I could do better.
How to use this app ?
App connects to your Outlook 2003 and reads all folders (displayed on the left side of the form). You just need to select the folders to process (app will look for attachments in these folders), next select the directory where to save the attachments, select the directory structure (described below) and file types to save). Click Save and your attachments will be exported to the directory you specified (a copy of the attachment will be saved - attachment won't be removed from the original mail message).
New features.
Directory structure:
- all in one directory (attachments will be saved in directory specified in Base Directory textbox)
- by sender (attachments are saved in folders by the sender e.g.: RootDirectory[Sender's Name] -- Warning: Security pop-up will show up (because the app is accessing sender's data))
- by file type (e.g.: all JPG files are saved in JPG subdirectory)
IMPORTANT:
This is not a release version.
If you have some questions/suggestions/problems/requests for source code/.../ please email me or post a comment. Oh, and spread the word around.
Maybe I should link to Robert Scoble's blog, Mark Orchant, Eric Legault and OfficeZealot and hope that people will download and comment on this app :).
